Our Content Data Science team (working with visual, textual and structured content) focuses on innovative solutions that make hotel selection engaging for millions of users worldwide, helping them make fast and informed decisions on where to stay. As a Data Scientist in the Accommodation Profile team, you'll apply NLP and large language models to optimize our content strategy and drive business impact by creating compelling summaries from textual and structured data. How you’ll make an impact:

  • Develop end-to-end ML solutions focusing on NLP and text generation for hotel content optimization
  • Leverage state-of-the-art AI models including LLMs and foundation models for text understanding and automated summary generation
  • Drive data-driven decisions through analysis of text performance and user behavior, translating findings into actionable insights
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to implement scalable solutions aligned with business priorities
  • Monitor and optimize deployed solutions through A/B testing and performance analysis
  • Communicate results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What you'll need to thrive:

  • 5+ years’ practical experience in data science, machine learning, or applied science roles
  • Advanced academic background (MSc or PhD) in machine learning, economics, statistics, or related fields, with a solid understanding of software engineering
  • Deep statistical knowledge and experience with experimental design
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, balancing cutting-edge research with pragmatic real-world impact
  • Proven experience developing and deploying ML algorithms in production environments at scale, driving business impact.
  • Strong communication skills to present findings and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Technical expertise in Python, SQL, and Cloud computing services
