Full Professor of Software Engineering or Programming Languages

at salary grade W 3 to commence as soon as possible. This is a permanent civil service position.

We are looking for persons of international visibility to strengthen the Department of Computer Science with independent research and teaching profiles in the field of software engineering or programming languages. Willingness and ability to attract research funding must be noticeable. The person must be renowned in one of the fields software engineering or programming languages.

The incumbent will be involved in the teaching of the undergraduate computer science degree programmes, as well as the cooperative study programmes in computer science. In particular, the professorship will teach the courses Concepts of Programming and Software Engineering. An active contribution to academic self-administration is expected.

The ability to teach in German and English is expected.
