We are looking for a Senior Process Mining Data Engineer (f/m/d) to join the Transformation & Automation team at our incredible Hero Hub in the heart of Berlin.

Your Mission

• Engage with local and global teams to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the existing business processes, their business goals, objectives and requirements.

• Collaborate closely with IT infrastructure teams to understand process execution flow in the systems, ensuring availability of data for further analysis.

• Build end-to-end data pipelines to enable process mining/analytics and process transformation projects.

• Analyse process execution data, identify loops, bottlenecks and other inefficiencies, create actionable insights to improve process performance.

• Work closely with the Automation team, supporting various transformation initiatives.

• Taking care of data infrastructure, ensuring the high quality and availability of services in production.

Your Heroic Skills

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science or related.

• Practical knowledge  (4+ years) designing and building ETL/ELT pipelines for processing of large amounts of structured and unstructured data

• Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Expert in Python.

• Knowledge of AWS services (Athena, S3).

• Experience with visualisation tools like Tableau, Data Studio (or similar tools).

• You possess creative problem-solving abilities and an eye for detail.

• Comfort with ambiguity and translating abstract business questions into actionable insights and high impact data products

• Self-starter who thrives under a high level of autonomy

• You are a team player, you love to think outside the box and you have good English communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Git, Docker, Airflow, BigQuery.

• Experience of Linux platforms and scripting capabilities (bash).

• Good knowledge of AWS services (Athena, S3).

• Good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (Bigquery).

• Project management experience
